1. Cat-Cow Pose – 

It is a great morning stretch for your back. This is one of the yoga asanas which help in opening the spine. How can this asana be done? For this, you need to get down on all fours. Gaze up to the ceiling and drop your back down toward the floor while you are inhaling. Thereafter look down at your belly button, arch your back like a cat and exhale.

2. Downward Dog – 

It is another effective yoga asana to start your day. For this position, you need to start on your knees and hands directly below your hips and place your hands slightly forward of your shoulders. Press back, while you list your knees away from the floor while you keep your arms straight and lift your tailbone up. Stretch your knees away from the floor to lengthen your hamstrings.

3. Extended side angle poses – 

It is one of the yoga asanas which helps in improving posture, strength, and flexibility. This yoga asana is particularly good to strengthen your leg and stretch the side of your body. Yoga draws energy from inside the body and it is of extreme importance to keep your body fit and healthy.

4. Tree Pose – 

This a standing yoga asana that helps to strengthen your legs and cultivate balance. To do this pose, you need to stand straight then shift your weight to the right front, bringing the sole of your left foot to the right inner thigh. The hands are held together over the chest in a prayer position.

5. Camel Pose – 

This yoga asana frees up the energy in your heart, chest, and throat. Start in the kneeling position. The upper position needs to be gradually bent towards the back until the arms are extended. The hands need to touch the soles of the feet and the head needs to be completely extended as well. Hold like that for 30 secs to one minute.

6. Seated Twist – 

This is one of the best yoga asanas in case you are looking forward to a really good morning yoga stretch. For this, you need to bend your knees, put your feet on the floor, and thereafter slide your left foot under the right leg to the outside of your right hip. You need to lay the outside of the left leg on the floor. The right leg should be over the left with the right foot standing on the floor outside the left hip.
