Three types of coronavirus have been discovered recently: SARS virus or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Virus, MERS virus or Middle East respiratory syndrome virus, and COVID-19 or coronavirus disease 2019. The first report of the disease was in southern China and then the COVID-19 virus has spread in 70 locations all over China. The disease has also spread internationally in Washington State, New York, Oregon, and California.
